Hello Dragan,

I met you briefly at the Artist Project (I am a fellow artist) and I just wanted to tell you again how spectacular your work is.
Such a sense of nostalgia and sweet melancholy... absolutely beautiful.

I hope it was a successful show for you
best wishes,
nathalie

Hello

I attended the NY art expo over the past weekend and just wanted to let you know how blown away I was by your paintings. They are so beautiful, moody, emotional, evocative... it's a long long time since any work hit me like that.

I come from a family of missionaries who lived in Greenland, Germany and then South Africa - our whole history is full of goodbyes and new beginnings... I was born in South Africa, moved to England in my early twenties to travel and ended up getting married and living there for 10 years, then moved to New York for my husband's work, where we live now. My son was born in England, and is deeply sad that we moved him from where he was born - he is only 6 and to have that sadness already is hard... he was 2 when we moved, we thought it would be the easiest for him. My daughter is American. The theme of loss, migration, leaving, is one I have just started exploring in my own paintings as it has been such a huge part of my adult life, all our family are still far away. When I saw your work on Saturday, I honestly almost cried. You have captured such incredible feeling - your paintings are soulful and really spoke to me. They are stunning.

Thank you so much, all the best, and if you ever have a set of prints made of the current migration series of painting, I will be first on the list to buy one.
